Mercedes-Benz Reveals Guilt Free Supercar
Mercedes-Benz unveiled their new electric supercar in Paris this week, the SLS AMG Coupe Electric Drive. The most powerful AMG high-performance vehicle of all time, it has four electric motors producing a total output of 740hp (552 kW) and a maximum torque of 1000 Nm. As a result, the gullwing model has become the world’s fastest electrically-powered series production vehicle: the SLS AMG Coupé Electric Drive accelerates from zero to 100 km in 3.9 seconds.
According to Mercedes-Benz it is ”the most exclusive and dynamic way to drive an electric car.” With a combined maximum output of 552 kW and a top speed of 250 km/h this electric supercar goes into limited production in 2013 and is estimated to cost in the region of €416,500.
Alongside the SLS AMG Coupe Electric Drive Mercedes also showed the Smart Brabus Electric Drive, and an electric B-Class with claimed range of 200 km.
